Meet the authors

Heather and Kailee met in 2019 through professional circles and became fast friends through their passion for helping people live their best, and their differing sets of knowledge. It was soon after that they realized that they were going to write a book together!

Heather Evans, MS + Kailee Karst, DPT

Eating and Moving is a culmination of many months of early Friday morning coffee sessions, and Heather and Kailee are proud to see this book come to fruition!

Kailee Karst, DPT

Kailee has her doctorate in physical therapy and currently sees patients in her clinic in Richmond, Virginia. Since writing the book she has taken a deep dive into anatomy and physiology (including manual therapy for conditions like PCOS, endometriosis and IBS) and loves pulling info from the book for her clients with PCOS, endometriosis, heavy menstrual bleeding and period pain!

After co-authoring “Eating and Moving for Your Cycle” and simultaneously working with clients in clinic, Kailee realized that most people just need a little (research based) guidance in order to feel better and reach their health goals. This is why she started offering online personalized wellness sessions.

These sessions emphasize working with you within your circumstances and environment to create sustainable lifestyle modifications to help facilitate healing and optimal health, and focus on the foundational health components.
Virtual personalized wellness offers a chance to dig deep and create patterns that will promote optimal health and well-being.
